TCR AUSTRALIA CARS ON PHILLIP ISLAND PUBLIC ROADS

Today five of this weekends TCR Australia round 2 cars went for a tiki-tour onto Phillip Island, over the bridge at San Remo and back again in the lead up to the second round of the brand new series.

Last month the new Touring Car Racing series had their first ever round at Sydney Motorsport Park which was deemed a great success, both on track with the 17 cars racing and the largest ever crowd at a Shannons Nationals Round.

This weekend for their second round we are waiting to see just how many cars will hit the track tomorrow, there has been reports of 4 more cars, 2 Audi’s but only one driver has been named, being Garth Tander, and two new new Honda Civic Type R’s for Wall Racing, but again we’ve not heard of any drivers, or if the cars have actually arrived, it was hoped they would arrive before this weekend round.
