The Porsche Sprint Trophy Thailand continues as its contenders gear up for the second round of the 2019 Thailand Super Series in Buriram at the Chang International Circuit, with 10 Porsche cars across the GT3, GTM, GT4 and GTC categories.

Reigning Cayman GT4 Trophy Thailand champions AAS Motorsport are partnering with est Cola and has 2017 Super Car GTM and TCR Asia Series champion Kantadhee Kusiri in the #18 Porsche 991 GT3 Cup, the sole entry in the Pro-Am GT3 class. The Thai racer is also contesting Porsche Supercup this year.

Pro-Am GTM championship leaders Ahmad F. Alam and Daniel Storkersen return in the #12 Earl Bamber Motorsport/B-Quik Racing Team Porsche 991 GT3 Cup. Their sister entry, the Am class #11, has overall Sprint Trophy Thailand points leaders Porsche Carrera Cup Asia duo Antares Au and John Curran at the helm.

The Sathienthirakul brothers, Munkong and Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia race winner Tanart, are back behind the wheel of the #15 Mongkol Motorsports car hoping for further victories at the Thailand MotoGP venue and their second of the 2019 season.

The #78 True Vision Motorsports car also has an unchanged line-up of Carrera Cup Asia Pro-Am front-runner Suttiluck Buncharoen, following his Sepang debut. Dechathorn Phuakkarawut makes his GTM debut in the #9 YK Motorsports by Sunoco car.

Current GT4 championship leader Chayapon Yotha, on board the #14 Morseng Racing Team Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport (981), hopes to defend his lead from the two AAS Motorsport cars of Pasu Liptapanlop and his team-mate, TCR Thailand Touring Car Championship racer Nattachak Hanjitkasem.

Ian Geekie aims to repeat his 2018 success at the Buriram finale, where he took victory, in the GTC-class #18 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (Type 997) with the B-Quik Racing Team.
