POSITIVE PRACTICE DAY FOR TYLER EVERINGHAM IN PERTH

Half Price Parts Velocity Magazine media driver Tyler Everingham had a positive day at Perth’s Barbagallo Raceway for round two of the Supercars Dunlop Super2 Series.

The class had two daylight practice sessions today with qualifying tomorrow afternoon at 2.55pm local time. Race 1 is scheduled to start at 5.25pm and will see the Dunlop series race into the WA twilight with flag fall expected around .

“Overall I’m happy with how the two practice sessions went today. Made a lot of progress between the two runs,” Tyler told Velocity.

“Practice one I made gradual gains and ended the session in P11. I then had an opportunity between the sessions to go over data and ended up P4 in practice two.”

The first 15 cars all ran below the new lap record that was set in the first session today by Jordan Boys.

“With the resurfacing it has definitely made the cars faster but also on edge and nervous. I’m looking forward to racing on Friday.”
