BRYCE FULLWOOD TO TEST TA2 AT MORGAN PARK RACEWAY

Super2 series driver and Adelaide 500 round winner Bryce Fullwood is set to cut laps in a TA2 Racing car at Morgan Park Raceway in Warwick next Monday.  Velocity Magazine was told this morning that Fullwoods sponsors have arranged for him to test the TA2 Mustang owned and raced by Tim Tritton in a private session at the Darling Downs circuit.

“We have arranged for Bryce to conduct a private test day Monday of next week at Morgan Park in Qld in the car with a plan being currently worked on for Bryce to run this TA 2 car for some races this season and a possible full season 2020″ said Bryces backers.

Everyday Finance Solutions’ Alan Peters and Mick Bonanno from Eastgate Engineering are personal sponsors of Bryce along with Tim Tritton from World of Maths – the trio all know how important it is for the young driver to have as much seat time in what is going to prove to be a big year after the round 1 win.

Velocity then asked Bryce to confirm he’ll still be in the Super2 next season – “Absolutely (I) won’t be replacing Super 2 as Supercars is my goal. I’m excited to have a run in a TA 2 car, they look really cool and I like the idea behind the category. It has come at a good time for me as we have a 9 week break in our Super2 campaign and it’s very hard to get time in the Super2 car with limited testing and only 7 race meetings for the year. So getting some miles up in other cars is important,” said Fullwood.

“Alan and Tim are keen for me to test the car next Monday and Tim is keen to try and run me in the car next year. Still a little of a long shot but that’s what he’s sort of working towards.”

TA2 racing have their second round of the series coincidentally at Morgan Park next weekend 5-7 April, the same weekend Fullwood is running a Mustang Aussie Racing Car at Symmons Plains in Tasmania.
