Following recent announcements from Holden based teams along pit lane, Matt Stone Racing (MSR) today announced it had also secured support for its 2019 Supercars season from GM Holden.

Team Principal, Matt Stone met with senior Holden executives at the season opening Superloop Adelaide 500 to discuss how the Supercars mainstay manufacturer was prepared to continue its support of the category and the teams that carry the Holden brand.

Gearing up this week to continue on from a successful start that saw MSR achieve its 1st top 10 shootout and 1st top 10 finish in the Championship for driver Todd Hazelwood, Stone was grateful for the support, saying

“Last weekend vindicated our strategic switch back to Holden and the creation of our Triple Eight alliance, with the Holden ZB Commodore and technical support from Triple Eight helping to produce the milestone moments for our team”

“It was great to have the opportunity to hear directly from Holden about their vision for the Australian market. We at MSR look forward to working with GM Holden in 2019, to ensure their ongoing support of Supercars and our many Australian fans who continue to waive the red flag.”
