TIM BROOK MOTORSPORT RACING IN SUPPORT OF THE GOWAN GIRLS
PRESS RELEASE/Tim Brook Motorsport – Photo: supplied
A number of drivers this weekend are showing their support in an effort to help raise money for fellow racer Adam Gowans and his two young daughters, Zara (3) and Goldie (1).
A seasoned racer in Australian motorsport, Gowans tragically lost his wife, Tarsh, to cancer in August.
Her loss has been a devastating blow for the young family, with members of the motorsport community rallying together to lend their support.
This weekend Tim Brook and David Sieders (Toyota 86 Racing Series), Shae Davies (Dunlop Super2 Series), and Dylan O’Keeffe (Porsche Wilson Security Carrera Cup Australia Series) will carry pink ribbons on their cars bearing Tarsh’s name, along with Zara and Goldie’s.
To help the young family, a Go Fund Me page has been set up to help raise money, with McLaren Real Estate Macarthur getting the ball rolling with a generous $2,000 donation.
The Go Fund Me Page will remain open until the final event of the 2018 season at Newcastle, on November 23-25.
It’s hoped fellow competitors and supporters will reach into their pockets and help one of motorsport’s own and his two adorable girls.
