RABBLE.club SANDOWN 500 SUPERCARS RETRO ROUND

Next week is the first of the PIRTEK Enduro Cup Supercar rounds and its also the Sandown Retro Round.  We thought we’d ask you the question was is your most favourite Retro Livery on a Supercar that you have seen, or maybe what would you like to see on s car this year?  Almost all of the Supercar team’s make an effort in some shape or form to bring back “the old look”, and yes we know some do it better thank others.

We love the retro event at Sandown, firstly its a pretty good round race wise and secondly the paint schemes of yesteryear are pretty cool to shoot, as photographers its always good to mix it up. 

DJR Team Penske has run the same paint scheme at all events since its current sponsorship deal with Shell began at the start of 2017.  It adopted only retro-styled Shell logos for last year’s Sandown event, but will this time feature a complete livery from the team’s history on both of its cars.

The team teased its retro look on social media on Wednesday, showing a dark red PPG paint being prepared at its workshop.
