CALAN WILLIAMS SET UP DAY AT SILVERSTONE

Great to get to the track today, catch up with the team and get my first real up close look at Silverstone Circuit on my track walk with engineer Tom Toovey.

Track walks are the best final piece of preparation after all the time analysing vision, along with a good deal of time on Fortec’s simulator in the lead up to races.

At 6kms long, it’s a fair walk around Silverstone, but it certainly confirmed how fast and flowing the track will be with a number of good opportunities for overtaking which I am sure will make for good racing.

I can’t wait to hit the track for the two 40min practice sessions tomorrow!
