The tenth race of the 2018 FIA Formula One World Championship, the Formula 1 Rolex British Grand Prix, gets underway this weekend at Silverstone with the track action commencing on Friday at 10:00 local time.

Nico: “I like Silverstone, it’s high-speed in the corners especially through Copse, Maggots and Becketts, they are fun and challenging corners to take in a Formula 1 car. It’s a track I enjoy driving at. It’s important we return to the points this weekend for our battle for fourth in the Constructors’ Championship. The last two races weren’t ideal so we want a better one here.”

Carlos: “It’s nearly a home Grand Prix for the team, especially all the mechanics and staff. It’s a special one for Renault Sport and special for me, as Silverstone is where I first tested a Formula 1 car, so I have good memories and it’s a track I enjoy driving at. It’s a crazy lap here, maybe one of the best of the year. It’s high-speed, especially through sector two. There are DRS zones for overtaking, so it’s usually an exciting Grand Prix.”
