RYAL HARRIS TO MAKE KUMHO SERIES DEBUT

The most successful V8 Utes driver in history, Ryal Harris, will debut in the Kumho V8 Touring Car Series at Phillip Island on April 20-22.  Currently racing in the new SuperUtes series, Harris is looking forward to making the step up into the Aussie Driver Search (ADS) FG Falcon V8 Supercar.

“I’m very appreciative of the opportunity to drive for Aussie Driver Search in the Kumho series. “I’ve had a few races in the Dunlop series and loved it, the aim is to bring the car home in one piece with a good result!”

Harris will join ADS for its first foray in the Kumho V8 Touring Car Series after a successful weekend for the program at the Australian Grand Prix.

Jaie Robson, who won the inaugural ADS in 2016, had a breakthrough debut in the CAMS Australian GT Championship which netted 2 race wins and the overall round win last month.

Harris is a judge for the program and feels it is a vital program for motorsport in Australia, “Absolutely love being apart of the program. Kyle and the team have brought something new and exciting and well within reach for aspiring racers. “This year will be huge and I can’t wait for it to all get underway.”
