VALUABLE PRACTICE SESSIONS IN THE BOOKS AT THE BEND FOR BJR

The Enduro Cup got underway at The Bend Motorsport Park today, with three practice sessions held on the South Australian track.
BJR’s three co-drivers, Bryce Fullwood (#8 R&J Batteries GR Supra), Brad Vaughan (#14 Farmers Union Iced Coffee GR Supra) and Jordan Boys (#96 Alphatheta GR Supra), were able to build valuable seat time on the West Circuit layout and provide important feedback to the team.
The crew will now work through the data gathered during today’s sessions to optimise car setup ahead of qualifying tomorrow at 14:45 ACST.

“Just went through some race stuff and not really sure where we sit yet. But just working on the race car and I didn’t really focus on outright pace. So, we’ll just see how tomorrow goes.”

“Day was good. Not really sure where we’re at with our car and what our speed’s like. I feel really comfortable in the car. Andre and I are talking the same language so all of that’s going really well. Just a little bit hard to know where we’re at at the moment because I think the race pace versus quality pace is a big delta in time difference. So, we’re not really sure where we’re at there and time will tell, but all good so far.”

“Not a great day. Just really struggled with the car. I Felt like we made some progress in the last one, so lots to go over tonight and we’ll see how we come out tomorrow.”

Don’t want to paint the picture as bad as it probably looks with three 26th place finishes but really did a lot of learning and I’m just very thankful of the people around me working with us so that we can put everything into tomorrow and hopefully be, if not the top 10, not far away from it.”

“I feel like my day wasn’t too bad. I feel like we made some improvements over the day and I think I think the car is in a reasonable window that we can tune for tomorrow and for the race car which is encouraging. So, just one step at a time at the moment. But Jordan felt comfortable which is good. We’ll see what we bring tomorrow.”
