Objective Racing has announced Jack Perkins as it’s co-driver to join rookie Jackson Walls for the 2026 Enduro Cup at Tailem Bend and the Bathurst 1000.
This opportunity means that Perkins will reach the milestone of achieving twenty one Bathurst 1000 starts, ensuring his experience and knowledge gained over that time will compliment Walls’ maiden run through this year’s Supercars endurance events.
Perkins’ recent racing schedule in 2025 was balanced between co-driving duties with James Courtney and two NASCAR Xfinity Series races in the US with Shaw and Partners Financial Services and Joe Gibbs Racing, one on the road course in Portland and the other on the streets of Chicago.
Jack also spent a five-year stint as part of the Seven Network’s Supercars broadcast team as a key analyst providing technical insight which required filling both driving and presenting roles as part of the endurance season. This year will see him step back from his broadcast commitments to be fully immersed with Objective Racing at these events.
Likewise, that commitment to the task has seen Perkins working with Jackson and the team over the offseason and then ahead of the rookie test day last week at Queensland Raceway before being able to drive the Objective Racing Mustang GT for the first time at the teams Partner Ride Day at Sydney Motorsport Park.
The 2026 Supercars Championship season will begin at Sydney Motorsport Park on February 20 with the Enduro Cup for co-drivers being held at The Bend Motorsport Park on September 11 and Bathurst on October 8.
Jack Perkins, Co-Driver, Objective Racing:
“I’m absolutely delighted to be joining Objective Racing alongside Jackson Walls.”
“Coming in as a co-driver, I can’t wait to be involved with one of the most successful outfits in Supercars in Triple Eight, and their upcoming new team.”
“It’s great to be working with Jackson, who’s been very competitive in Porsche Carrera Cup and Super2. I’m keen to support him as a co-driver and as a voice in the garage for his first year. The last two rookies I’ve co-driven with were Will Brown and Scott McLaughlin, who’ve gone on to be incredibly successful in their careers and there’s a similar feel with Jackson and Objective Racing this year.”
“To be in car 11 at Bathurst will be very special for me personally and indeed my family. Dad won three Bathurst’s with car 11 in the nineties and that number is synonymous with the Perkins name.”
“I’m very thankful to Jackson, Andrew (Jones), Jamie Whincup and Earl Evans for giving me this opportunity and can’t wait to drive with Objective Racing.”
Jackson Walls, Driver, Objective Racing:
“I’m very excited for Jack Perkins to be joining Objective Racing for this years’ endurance season.”
“It’s awesome to have someone like Jack join the team, he’s reliable, fast when he needs to be, and always does a great job. He has a huge amount of experience with this style of racing, I’m looking forward to the valuable guidance he’ll provide at these two events and throughout the year.”
“It’s also really nice to reunite him with the number 11, the Perkins family have such a strong connection to it, so it’s quite special for me to run it too.”
