Cub Cadet Racing’s Anton De Pasquale scored an eighth place finish in Race 30 of the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship at the Sandown 500, while TRADIE Energy’s David Reynolds finished 19th.
Saturday qualifying saw a strong performance from the team. Capitalising on the early speed found in practice, De Pasquale and Reynolds were both able to find their way into the Top Ten Shootout, with De Pasquale showing strong form with a third place.

Race 30 however was not without its challenges; De Pasquale got caught in traffic early fending off Kai Allen and Matt Payne, while late tyre wear issues for Reynolds hampered his ability to maintain position around the 81 laps of the Sandown racecourse.
De Pasquale would hold on to come home to finish in eighth place, marking his 20th finish this season inside the Top 10.
The action for Sunday will continue at Sandown starting with knockout Qualifying from 11:20am AEST, followed by the Top Ten Shootout at 12:10pm and Race 31 at 3:20pm (81 laps). All the action can be viewed live on Fox Sports and Kayo.

“Wrapping up the first race here at Sandown, it was intense. We just didn’t find enough track position or have enough tyre life to do any damage in that one. We fell back a few spots but were in there with the best of the rest, just didn’t have quite enough.”
“We’ll tune that up. We qualified really well, did a good Shootout, and I’m looking forward to getting back onto the soft tyre tomorrow. Bit of rain around, so we’ll see what happens.”

“We were going all right. First stint was okay, found my time, got past Waters, was catching the blokes in front, hung out, had reasonable tyre life and pace. Then coming to the pit, next stint was okay but a little more difficult. Caught up to Murray and tried to get past him, fried the tyres, it just goes so quick it’s not funny.”
“The last stint, we probably pitted prematurely, I think. Came out behind the leader, which wasn’t good, wasted a lot of time behind him, and just had no pace at all and no tyre life. I don’t know what was happening, but it was difficult to drive and very slow. Out of the three stints, two were good, one was very bad, and I just sailed back to 19th.”
“Today I knew coming in it was a bit of a lucky dip because we have a standard base car we run everywhere, and we changed it a lot for Friday and it was very good on Friday. So we had to undo what we learned on Friday to compensate for this tyre, and it’s just vastly different. Hopefully tomorrow, if it’s dry, I’m pretty sure we’ll have a better day based on our Friday pace ’cause it’s a similar tyre. Knowing my luck, it’ll rain!”
