Madeline Stewart has completed her first year of racing in the United States by finishing third in the championship standings of the 2023 Porsche Sprint Challenge North America.

Madeline’s campaign in the 992 ProAm class, proved to be impressive as she navigated a new championship, car and most importantly a series of new circuits around North America.

On debut in Sebring, Madeline went on to claim pole position and followed it up with a pair of podium finishes in her first weekend in the championship. This paved the way for podiums at Barber Motorsports Park, Mid Ohio Sports Car Course and Circuit of the Americas.

In February, Stewart announced a two-year deal with JDX Racing, which will see her move up to Porsche Carrera Cup North America in 2024.

“Our program for next year is starting to come together. Carrera Cup will be another big step for me, but now having a year of racing in the USA under my belt, I’m excited to draw on that experience. It is an extremely competitive series, racing at some very high-profile events and I feel up to the challenge.

We have secured around a third of the funding for next year and are working hard to find the remainder before testing starts in February” Stewart said.

With the 2024 Porsche Carrera Cup North America schedule announced, next year will see the championship support the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and Formula 1 at the Miami Grand Prix and the United States Grand Prix. A new addition to the calendar for the championship will be when they travel across the border as part of the Grand Prix Du Canada weekend.
