Thomas Randle is eager to get back into the Tickford Racing prepared Ford FG/X Skye Sands Falcon as the Dunlop Super2 Series heads west for round three.
After a promising first fully completed round in Tasmania last month, the 22-year-old BRDC Rising Star is looking forward to hitting Barbagallo Raceway in Wanneroo on Friday.
“It’s crazy to think that it has been almost four weeks since the last round, but I am certainly glad for it to be race week again.
“We had a very positive run down in Tasmania, finishing ninth overall, and I certainly learnt a lot more about the cars capabilities and my competitors after getting three full races under my belt now. I will certainly be bringing all that knowledge with me to Perth”.
“I’ve never driven a lap around the Barbagallo circuit, but the team has provided me with plenty of data and footage, and I have been on the simulator and driven a KZ2 shifter kart to give me the best preparation possible for this weekend. I also got the chance to drive my dad’s Sports Sedan for some extra race mileage”.
This weekends action kicks off on Friday, which sees two practice sessions, followed by two qualifying sessions and one race on Saturday, leaving Sunday with the final two races of the weekend.
