The Queensland Supercar Teams have their first full in season home test day at Queensland Raceway today, Shell V-Power Racing and Red Bull Holden Racing Teams along with Matt Stone Racing are here for the day, plus their respective Dunlop Super2 cars as well, there are 15 cars in total with a couple of Touring Car Masters cars as well.
Craig Lowndes is also here to test drive the Triple 8 Holden Sandman Supercar for Supercars with a V8 power plant in it (it was the test mule for the V6 development program) also running the Supercars test rig for the electronic throttle system. On his exit of Pitlane for the first run this morning Lowndes almost had the car in the wall in the lane, on cold used slick tyres. (See the video below)
