The Australian Racing Group is pleased to confirm the appointment of Nestora Strintzos into the role of General Manager – Commercial & Partnerships.
Strintzos comes to ARG with a wealth of premium partnerships experience, having spent the past four years in senior commercial roles at the Australian Grand Prix Corporation. At AGPC, Strintzos was responsible for developing the commercial portfolio of the Formula 1 and MotoGP events, with a focus on automotive manufacturer engagement.
From 2011 through to 2015, Strintzos worked for Velocity Management Group where he provided commercial representation for teams and drivers in Supercars, Super2 and Porsche Carrera Cup.
The appointment of a commercial leader comes at a time of positive growth for ARG, which now boasts an impressive list of owned motorsport properties including TCR Australia, TCR New Zealand, S5000, Touring Car Masters, a strategic alignment with TA2 and two events at Mount Panorama, Bathurst.
Strintzos takes up his position with ARG on October 1, 2019.
General Manager – Commercial & Partnerships
“I am delighted to be joining Australian Racing Group and leading the commercial function of this fast growing organisation,” said Nestora Strintzos.
“The arrivals this year of TCR Australia and S5000 have injected fresh content and interest into the Australian motorsport landscape, with the successful roll-outs of these categories proving ARG’s commitment and capability as a motorsport rightsholder. Along with TCR New Zealand, Touring Car Masters, TA2 and two premium fixtures at Bathurst from 2020, each product in the ARG portfolio holds unique appeal and the ability to capture the imagination of motorsport fans.
“With that comes great opportunity for existing and prospective partners, and it is my objective to realise the commercial potential for all stakeholders going forward.”
